Jean-Claude Guimberteau

Jean-Claude Guimberteau is a French hand surgeon and researcher who made significant contributions to the field of fascia research.

Guimberteau is best known for his groundbreaking research on the microanatomy of living tissue in the human body. He conducted the research using an endoscope with a high-definition video camera shown in the image below. He captured and documented the intricate and dynamic structure of fascia and other connective tissues in the living body. His discoveries resulted in a new concept of the anatomy of the living tissue an a new ontology of the human body architecture.

In his first film “strolling under the skin” he shows these new discoveries and observations.

Guimberteau’s work challenged many beliefs about the nature of fascia and helped to establish a new understanding of the role of connective tissue in the body. He made several very interesting videos and books about his discoveries. A Good interview about his viewpoints you can find here.

His worked contributed a lot to this project and i can recommend to everyone who wants to dive deeper into the vast field of fascia to look at his work.
